welcome back! to me i mean... day 2 of my blogging promise is taking shape. it's a beautiful day for the midwest (i'll take that back: any day that it isn't snowing or negative 10 degrees is a nice day!) Here's a little something Polyvore picked....

why did you want to start blogging?
it actually kind of started as a restless mind thing. i love reading fashion and style and diy blogs, so i wanted to create one of my own. i recently graduated from college and i wanted to put myself out there to recruiters. i'm really trying hard to keep up with it everyday!

where did you get the name for your blog?
rural route three comes from the name of the street i grew up on. the street name has changed since then, but 'route three' always stuck. 'rural' comes from it obviously being in the country.

what inspires you?
i'm really inspired by other people. alot of my outfit ideas come from the blogs and magazines i read. i also love to people watch, so thats where i get a lot of ideas from. i also love Pinterest. if you haven't already...

how would you describe your sense of style?
i definetly like to be comfortable. lots of knits and leggings, usually with sandals or boots in the winter. i love Minnetonka Moccasin for their comfy shoes. i like to get dressed up, but i don't like to try to hard, so usually i end up in something comfortable. i never dressed up for class, so everything i own right now is strictly lazy college kid attire. casual and comfortable is a must!
